28.10.18 at Yogarise - Hip Hip Hooray

19.10.18 at yogahaven Richmond - Grow your Flow

Vinyasa Krama... What does it actually mean? And how is it relevant to the practice both on the mat and off the mat? Beyond upward and downward dog, Vinyasa should be something we could consider throughout the class from the very beginning to the very end.

In this workshop, we will be exploring the meaning of vinyasa and how it applies to our physical practice. We will of course be breaking down what we commonly perceive as Vinyasa (downward dog to plank, through chaturanga, to upward facing dog and back), as well as explore progressions and regressions to develop the strength to progress safely with correct form.

This is an ideal workshop to refine your understanding of vinyasa practice as well as the perfect opportunity to graduate from your basics practice to a confident hot flow.

16.2.19 in Wandsworth - Teacher Refresh: Anatomy and Assists day workshop for teachers

A whole day just for you to refresh your memory, upgrade your knowledge, and develop your skills. Join me on the 2nd February from 10.30am - 6.30pm in Wandsworth.

We will spend the morning covering anatomical ground around the lower limb, and how we can integrate this knowledge into better teaching, more specific cues, and intelligent sequencing.

After a lunch break, we will work on assisting (or adjusting) some of the most common poses we encounter in dynamic classes, and see how our knowledge of anatomy layers into this skilful, collabortive practice.

This full day should leave you inspired to go back to your teaching and confident in applying some new knowledge and content, with the understanding to support this. This workshop will be as interactive as possible so that you get plenty of chances to apply your skills and ask questions. Numbers will be capped to 16 people so book fast! You will also get a printed recap to take away with you, however I do recommend you bring a notebook and pen.

This workshop is for any teacher or aspiring teacher with a minimum of 200 hours qualification, or currently undertaking a 200HR.
