Group classes are the way that most disciplines are taught in London. It is also the cheapest way to get involved! Great to kick start your motivation and keep your eye on the ball (sometimes quite literally!). Expect anywhere between 5 and 40 people per class depending on the format and studio. For more information and costs, just contact the studios directly. You can find the schedule for group classes here.
Group classes can also be brought straight to your office at any time of the day, leaving your team more relaxed, more focused and energised! It is also an ideal way to keep your office happy! For more information, and rates, please contact me directly through the contact page.
Want to bring your practice up a level? Pick up new tips to get into that tricky posture you have been working on? Have time to try new things? Then you need to get yourself down to a workshop! In these classes, we get a bit more time to work on the detail and refine the practice; it is all about delving a little deeper, or maybe pushing a little harder!
I am available to teach workshops both in the UK and abroad! Feel free to contact me for more information.
- 23rd June 2019 // Teacher Refresh: Anatomy and Assists Part two
A whole day just for you to refresh your memory, upgrade your knowledge, and develop your skills. This is part two of Anatomy and Assists for yoga teachers and teacher trainees. Please note, you do not have to have attended part one to come to part two.
Join me on the 23rd June from 9.30am - 5pm in Euston. We will spend the morning covering anatomical ground around the spine and the upper limb, and look at how we can integrate this knowledge practically into better teaching, more specific cues, and intelligent sequencing. After a lunch break, we will work on assisting (or adjusting) some of the most common poses we encounter in dynamic classes, and see how our knowledge of anatomy layers into this skilful, collaborative practice. This full day should leave you inspired to go back to your teaching and confident in applying some new knowledge and content, with the understanding to support this. This workshop will be as interactive as possible so that you get plenty of chances to apply your skills and ask questions. Numbers will be capped to 18 people so you are in a cosy learning environment. You will also get a printed recap to take away with you, however I do recommend you bring a notebook and pen.
This workshop is for any teacher or aspiring teacher with a minimum of 200 hours qualification, or currently undertaking a 200HR. To book, drop me a line via the contact page.
